BIG Tournament coming up !

BIG Tournament coming up May 4-5 Statewide Elementary Championships
2 Sections - Primary K-3 and Elementary 4-6
Robbinsdale Middle School
Cost $40 if already a SCA member, $42 if new. Moreland Chess Club will reimburse you for half of that cost. 7 rounds (5 on Sat., 2 on Sunday) If you need to miss a round, you can schedule a half-point bye. No byes in round 7. Teams will be 2 or more players from the same school. Team score is the total of the four highest scores.
You can register by printing out a registration form from www.schoolchess.org or pick one up from Mr. Heinemann on Tuesday or Thursday. April 25 is the deadline, else the price goes up.

The ones in darker gold are signing up for the state tournament. If Addi, James, Erick, and Robert sign up, we'll have a good primary (K-3) team with one extra score - top 4 scores on the team count toward the total. Lowest score would get tossed out.
